Rod, a multifaceted artist with a career spanning more than three decades, has graced the stages of half of Italy, performing hundreds of live shows. His versatility has led him to explore various musical genres, alternating between cover bands and unreleased projects, demonstrating an unbreakable dedication to music.
His main projects include:
**CAGE**, a prog rock band active between 1988 and 1994. Their LP, ‘The Feeble Minded Man’, released in 1993, is an example of their avant-garde sound research.
**BEDEUM**, a prog folk band that released the CD ‘Brevistele’ between 1999 and 2002, a work that mixes traditional sounds with a modern approach.
**ARSIVIVI**, a project that embraces crossover, alternative and psychedelic, is one of Rod’s most significant formations, active from 1995 to 2011.
With two distinctive albums, “Virtual Man” (1999) and “End or Fine” (2000),
**The VICIOUS CLUB**, Rod explored rock’n’roll and punk rock as a drummer in the band whose 2008 album “Eaten” represents an important chapter in his career.
In 2009, Rod joined the **DOMINOES** as singer and percussionist.
His ability to reinvent himself is evident at this stage of his career, where he brings his unique style to the reinterpretation of iconic rock music tracks.
Parallel to his musical activity, in 2003, Rod began a fruitful collaboration with director Michele Rosania, dedicating himself to the creation of soundtracks for his films. This union between music and cinema expresses Rod’s artistic versatility, who does not just play music, but creates atmospheres and emotions through his music.
2018 marks an important turning point in Rod’s career with the birth of his solo project **RODGARD** and the release of the album “KAOS”, made with the collaboration of ARSIVIVI musicians, is entirely self-produced.
In 2020, he released ‘KOVID-2020’ in the midst of a pandemic emergency, a work reflecting the challenges and uncertainties of that period.
“FAKRACY”, a bold work consisting of five tracks, precedes the release of
“The Fairy”.
His latest production, 2024’s “No Trust”, promises to continue his sonic exploration.
ROD’s story is one of constant change, a journey that goes beyond conventions and invites the listener to join a musical adventure of experimentation and passion.

Rod, un artista poliedrico con una carriera che si estende per oltre tre decenni, ha calcato i palchi di mezza Italia, dando vita a centinaia di spettacoli dal vivo. La sua versatilità lo ha portato a esplorare vari generi musicali, alternando tra cover band e progetti inediti, dimostrando una dedizione inscalfibile alla musica.
Tra i suoi principali progetti:

Nel 2009, Rod entra a far parte dei **DOMINOES** come cantante e percussionista.
La sua capacità di reinventarsi è evidente in questa fase della sua carriera, dove porta il suo stile unico nella reinterpretazione di brani iconici della musica rock.
Parallelamente all’attività musicale, nel 2003, Rod inizia una proficua collaborazione con il regista Michele Rosania, dedicandosi alla realizzazione delle colonne sonore per i suoi film. Quest’unione tra musica e cinema esprime la versatilità artistica di Rod, che non si limita a suonare, ma crea atmosfere e emozioni attraverso la sua musica.
Il 2018 segna un’importante svolta nella carriera di Rod con la nascita del suo progetto solista **RODGARD** e l’uscita dell’album “KAOS”, realizzato con la collaborazione dei musicisti di ARSIVIVI, è interamente autoprodotto.
Nel 2020, pubblica “KOVID-2020” in piena emergenza pandemica, un’opera che riflette le sfide e le incertezze di quel periodo.

“The Fairy”.
La sua ultima produzione, “No Trust” del 2024, promette di continuare la sua esplorazione sonora.
